Whether you’re on the worksite or on a mountain with low coverage, stay connected to your phone with Bluetooth®[B5] via Apple CarPlay® [C12] and Android Auto™ [C13], both controllable by voice command or touch.
Cameras & sensors
Park and reverse with confidence. All pick-up variants come with a reversing camera, while SR5 and Rogue pick-ups feature an additional 6 sensors front and rear, with sonar detection status visible on the display [S1].
As a result of audio parts supply challenges and to assist in maintaining supply of vehicles to customers, Toyota Australia can provide an alternative sound system for some Hilux Rogue orders. Impacted customers may choose between the premium 9 speaker sound system or a 6-speaker system with a pricing reduction of $750. Toyota dealers are best placed to provide information to customers on their individual order situation and specification availability.

Trailer Sway Control
Stay on the straight and narrow and tow safely. HiLux comes standard with Trailer Sway Control, an intelligent safety technology designed to correct and help minimise sway [S1].
Downhill Assist Control
Simply push a button to activate Downhill Assist Control, designed to help you avoid locking up on slippery, steep and rocky downhill sections. Standard on SR 4x4 Double-Cab Auto, SR5 4x4 and Rogue.
Road Sign Assist
Front mounted smart cameras recognise certain Australian speed signs and alert you when it's time to change your speed[S1].
Pre-Collision Safety system
Using the HiLux’s built-in camera and radar, the Pre-Collision Safety (PCS) system has been designed to alert you when a frontal collision is likely with another vehicle, pedestrian or Daytime Cyclist, and if required will help you apply the right amount of brake pressure[S1].
Lane Departure Alert
The HiLux will sound a buzzer and display a visual warning on the Multi-Information Display, if it senses you have veered out of your lane while travelling at more than 50km/h[S1].
High-Speed Active Cruise Control
Using its built-in camera and front-grille-mounted radar, HiLux keeps you at a pre-selected speed, automatically accelerating and decelerating with the traffic in front[S1].
